What the heck is "unarmed weapons-based kungfu"?

Does someone think you are unarmed if you're only carrying weapons? Gotta have a gun to be considered armed?!?

Or worse yet, they felt they need to differentiate from the style of kungfu that relies on guns?

The world just gets stupider every day.
