for years nothing had changed and i was waiting to see changes occur that would signal a turnaround...in the last few months, i have seen changes occurring that lead me to believe a turnaround is happening...or at least a turnaround is very possible...
i was very critical of kim's frugalness and trying to accomplish things utilizing pennies and nickels...i was also critical of kim's slowness in getting almost ANYTHING done...
well now he has a few million dollars in the bank to make things happen..and that should also speed things up...
yes, the loan was costly but the payback has gone extremely well...so far..
thats a BIG positive change...too big to ignore...
kblb has a real, existing $40 mil contract with a reputable partner who will sell apparel made with spider silk...
kblb has been in production for some time...they SHOULD be into tonnage by now...they say they have enough product to ship to the kings group that would be sufficient for them to get started on manufacturing their line of clothing...
this is a bold statement...and theres no maybe or might or believe we can involved...they say they have the product ready to deliver...period..
thats quite different from intending to launch production or making bigger worms in the lab...
thats a huge change...
kim says they want to make gels, powders and creams...it doesnt sound too terribly difficult to do...and we know from other companies, that type of product sells...
kim always turned up his nose at such trivial endeavors and uses for his precious high tech spider silk...but if thats a quick way to make easy money, it appears he is finally willing to do so...these are the kinds of decisions that real businessmen make for the sake of the company and shareholders...
thats a real change for kim...
i could go on, but the fact is, i see real changes being made and they are positive...thats what i have been waiting to see...
this is still a high risk investment and covid is still a challenge but i see some good possibilities for the near future...
however, i have not purchased any more shares than i already had...but that is likely to soon change...
