I live in central NC. I would not think of moving to FL considering the cost of flood insurance and climate change.

We just got back from a week at Carolina Beach and had beautiful weather.

Where we live we don't have to worry about hurricanes, floods and the temp here today is 71.

We are also 4 hours due west from the mountains.
