I have gardened organically for almost 20 years. When I read Sir Albert Howard's "An Agricultural Testament" I realized there was no other choice. Certainly the folks at the Rodale Institute have been influential even before the hippies who left the Haight Asbury neighborhood in the mid 1960s to find places to farm in the Marin County area.
