And this article begs the question, where is our VOICE? The BOD, CEO,,CFO. Where is the media hounding the government for taking bald faced advantage of a conservatorship? All kinds of news on how they will spend the GSE's into nothingness, but nothing on what they are doing to expecite release. Are we really building all that much capital after you factor in all these new give aways? God knows what else they will try to worm out of the businesses.

Like that fee! They play up in the media how the current administrations appointed FHFA lady got rid of it, BUT there's barely a peep about how it is part of an infrastructure bill now (hidden tax). At least when the GSE's were collecting it, it was an insurance premium to protect against covid losses and was shown as such at inception. NOw, a stealth tax which the government can now control without drawing as much attention and easier to manipulate it higher since it's now buried in a black hole bill.
