I don't have any ideas. My question is very sincere. If the failure rate is high, I'd be very interested in knowing how high, and why. That's why the anonymity of the person making the claim is important/suspect.

I'd say we have all wasted enough cyber space on the subject by now if all we really have is an unsubstantiated anonymous claim that someone had a problem with a single unit. I'm sure there is some percentage of failure, just as with any product, but to suggest 5-25% based on the data we have is absurd.
