Hey look I have no interest in defending Cheney but i fail to see how he has been some leader in the anti-gay rights arena.

As far as his daughter is concerned, everyone knows she is gay. There was no attempt to hide it. Ony an attempt by left-wingers to use it as an issue during one of the debates, something that would still be creating huge media driven controvercies had the shoe been on the other foot. (speaking of Watergate and libby)
