Since 1987, Tim Halter, founder of Halter Financial Group (#msg-16571995), has been principally involved in more than 75 reverse merger and APO transactions. He is the founder and Co-Managing Director of the Halter USX China Index and the Halter USX India Index. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the National Investment Banking Association. Halter Financial Group has offices in Dallas and Shanghai. In addition to its active domestic APO business, HFG has a particular focus on international APO transactions and currently employs 17 people in its office in Shanghai. HFG is a partner various China specific funds including the PowerShares Golden Dragon Halter USX China Portfolio, an ETF listed on the AMEX ("PGJ"), the Halter Pope USX China Fund, an open-end mutual fund and the Pinnacle China Fund, a private equity hedge fund. The first financial product tied to the Halter USX India Index, an ETF to be listed on the AMEX, is currently in registration with the SEC and is anticipated to be launched in Q4, 2006.
