A Letter from Mark Salzberg, President NGC........

Coins recovered from the SS Pulaski, which sank in 1838 and is one of the most notable shipwrecks in the early history of the United States. Among the coins is an 1836 Half Eagle that was conserved by NCS and subsequently graded MS 63+ by NGC.
