Different labs will get different SI with different methods...

The biggest differentiator (amongst other variables) is the type of cell used in the assay. Testing the same drug against different cell types will generate widely disparate results. In other words, SI is a conditional/contextual measure, not an absolute.

And for the record, this article cited by the poster in question makes the clear and unequivocal assertion that remdesivir has an SI over 1000:

A previous study had shown that remdesivir did not kill cells at or below a concentration of 10 µM, thus proving that its antiviral effect on the human airway epithelial cells was virus-specific. Thus, it also has a high selectivity index of over 1,000, ensuring a wide margin of safety.
