Dr. Baer’s paper on Melbourne pointed to a few artifacts others found well over a decade ago as the reason for the hunt to continue, which was rather bizarre since Melbourne is such a very small area.

The area has been explored for over 2 decades.

Here’s some data from a June survey showing a very large section of The Pulaski. Within two weeks they were diving on the wreck. And this is supposedly outdated technology.
