You are talking about deflation if gold is the standard again, but its
against logic: if the gold is the standard and based on the gold
amount vs dollars in the system (printed, created via debt etc.) the
ounce of gold should be worth much more than its current price - you
are talking devaluation of the dollar and inflation.
