He was not ”right about that”.. He was obviously saying that Brilacidin failed based on his very limited interpretation of success. Even you added other obvious measures of success that he was ignoring. And once again, even by your standards, the Phase 2 for Ulcerative Proctitis was licensed and therefore was a success. The “0-6 in P2’s” was NOT correct.

But you are both wrong. The primary measure of success for a drug in a Phase 2 is whether the drug proves efficacious for the specific disease or condition for which it is being evaluated. Brilacidin has succeeded in every Phase 2 trial to date. And based on that previous success and the very positive lab results, there is certainly reason to be optimistic that this Phase 2 trial against Covid will also succeed.
