A valid post and noted. BUT as per usual just a deflection of the questions raised.
Make no mistake, no-one is questioning the CEO of not being "vert and trust worthy". I personally think he is possibly someone who is way beyond any of that, especially considering the banking background. solid as a rock, (That would include the CFO too).
Should you or anyone else desire to know the definition of a CEO in real terms:
The chief executive officer (CEO) is the highest-ranking executive at any given company, and their main responsibilities include managing the operations and resources of a company, making major corporate decisions, being the main liaison between the board of directors and corporate operations, and being the public face of the company.
1.Communicating, on behalf of the company, with shareholders, government entities, and the public
2.Leading the development of the company’s short- and long-term strategy
3.Creating and implementing the company or organization’s vision and mission
4.Evaluating the work of other executive leaders within the company, including directors, vice presidents, and presidents.
Amongst other duties!

CTO As I and most all corporations view the label.
A chief technology officer (CTO) is the executive in charge of an organization's technological needs as well as its research and development (R&D).The CTO usually reports directly to a company's chief information officer (CIO), but may also report to the chief executive officer (CEO) of the firm.
