These state and local housing authorities are having a tough time distributing the $45B in rental aid.
What will happen to the unfortunate mom and pop landlords who are stuck with 12 to 20 months of unpaid rents from tenants who don't qualify under the program?
Sure they will eventually get their non paying tenants out, the tenant will have an eviction on their credit report and likely have extremely limited rental housing options in the future and the mom and pop landlords will have an uncollectible judgment against the tenant.
