gfp: I'm truly dumbfounded at the price action on the precious metals and the miner.s You have the PPI up 1% on the emonth (12% annual) and silver and gold are DOWN? Makes no logical sense to me at all. The disconnect between basic fundamentals and market action is profound. We have general equities measured by the CAPE ratio at 3 standard deviations above fair value. The most overbought market in history. We have inflation running at somewhere between 10 and 20% a year if housing is factored in. And every one of my gold and silver mining stocks and ETFs is at a 52 week low. I'm at that point of maximum pessimism where I don't even look at my portfolios any more. The way my luck is running we will finally get the monster rally I expect but it will commence 1 week after I die of Covid. The central banks of the world have destroyed price discovery in every tradable market on earth. And at some point the money printing snd the debt will cause a financial collapse and a worse Depression than 1929.
