I firmly believe the 1 billion to 4 billion synthetic shares guesstimate is incorrect. That may be the number that can be (loosely) proven. Since conjuring up fake shares has NEVER failed short hedgies before, their only solution to this monumental mistake was to simply create more fakes. With that said, count on the fake share count to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 to 12 billion. Remember, this bullshit has been going on for 8 months now.
