I happened to run across this and it reminded me of my dad....then glanced at other Proverbs I have previously hi-lited
Proverbs 26: 4
Do not answer a fool according to his folly, lest you be like him
Now years ago my dad told me this proverb,, and also taught that his understanding----don't argue with a fool because an innocent bystander can not tell who the fool is------then dad went on to explain exactly what he was telling me ( I should have said teaching me)
3:5----Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding
13:7---There is one who makes himself rich, yet has nothing; and one who makes himself poor, yet has
great riches
27:1.---Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know whaat a day may bring forth
