PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct 28 (Reuters) - Internet search company LookSmart (LOOK,Trade) said on Tuesday it swung to a third-quarter profit from its year-ago loss as revenues climbed 70 percent ahead of the January end of its key licensing agreement with Microsoft Corp. (MSFT,Trade)

San Francisco-based LookSmart had a net profit of $1.9 million, or 2 cents per diluted share, compared with its net loss of $467,000, or nil per share, one year earlier. Revenue rose to $40.3 million from $23.8 million.
