I found it difficult to express my thoughts, and still at a loss.......So reckon it just is not meant to be, so, I will just shoot out a bit of Scripture that covered my personal thoughts this morning.

Job 8:13-15
New King James Version
13 So are the paths of all who forget God;
And the hope of the hypocrite shall perish,
14 Whose confidence shall be cut off,
And whose "trust" is a spider’s web.
15 He leans on his house, but it does not stand.
He holds it fast, but it does not endure.

In the O.T. the word TRUST has the characteristics as the N.T. word FAITH--BELIEVE, it is said to appear 154 times in the O.T. and I found that Faith, Faithful & Faithfulness is in around 91 Bible verses in the N.T....I chased this subject through the N.T. and the O.T., Trust, Faith, Believe and to me it boils down to no matter what the news media puts out there, no matter what the different churches put out there, no matter what others may say or do, "IF" I profess to be a Christian then I have to believe and trust in what the Holy Scriptures say....Bottom line, I believe God is in charge. Although it appears that our country is headed to hell in a hand basket, well if I look back on history it is not the 1st time we have suffered the ills of our country and for sure it will not be the last. Speaking for myself here, if I believe and trust in God then I have nothing fear, not politics, not sickness of any kind, not the media and various gov't. Now I do admit that now at 78 years old things appear different to me than they did in my younger years. Still today I do not look evil in the eye and laugh at it, but as a professing Christian I struggle with the temptation to follow all that is being said by the media and so forth and sometimes forget that God is in charge and all will be well.

Something here for folks to think on, something here for folks to increase their faith & trust on. If one feels let down, disturbed, if self-pity kicks in just say to yourself---"God is in charge, all will be well"---Faith and trust will carry you through or it has for me many, many times---God Bless
