You are so full of shjt! Do you REALLY think that UST, who has DL III under contract is going to tell him to go ahead and champion another's shaft! Wake up dude. What sp does is take a little bit of truth and manipulate it. DL III NEVER WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A SPOKESPERSON FOR E21. It would be nice if it were true, but it never was.
AND NO ONE KNOWS WHY DL III DECIDED NOT TO CONTINUE TESTING, GOT IT, TESTING THE SCANDIUM SHAFTS!!!
Also, there are steel shafts that are heavier than scandium and some that are lighter. There are some graphite shafts for irons that are relatively heavy. This crap that scandium shafts are too heavy is just not true. Too heavy for some yes, but not for others. Most older golfers like the lighter graphite. Must tour players like the steel shafts because they are more consistent and reliable. E21 shafts are more consistent and more reliable than either the graphite shafts or the steel shafts. Testing proved that. As sp likes to say, go read the PR's
The supposedly "better" "flat faced" Callaway driver is not yet proven but sp champions it as being better than any other driver out there, including NIKE, Cleveland, etc., etc., etc.
The nano tech graphite shop IS NOT NEW. It has been tested for the last year. Trying to get it right has been a problem. Looks very promising. But at the cost, not many will utilize it. AND, the fact that it is better than graphite and steel does not make it better than scandium.
sp needs to cool his jets until AFTER the testing is done to prove the worth of these new items. And guess what! Many other companies will be making many other drivers, irons, wedges, putters and shafts and claiming them to be the best thing since apple pie.
