I don't understand the relevance of the mines currently being closed?? What does that have to do with reopening it? Somebody still owns it whether it's closed or not. What's so hard about reopening it? Apparently they have applied for the permits and can do some work on the property before obtaining the necessary permits. Am I missing something? It wouldn't be on any BLM or any other list as active yet?
