I'd be one of those people who "overpay" for underarmour gear and you're right, it was the marketing that encouraged me to buy it. I'm very happy with it and don't really have the desire to go try all the cheaper brands to see if they work as well. I've always believed something is worth exactly what I'm willing to pay for it. Might I add that Nike already had that type of material in the marketplace before Underarmour introduced theirs, doesn't appear as though that prevented Underarmour from being successful. I also like wearing the gear because it serves as a constant reminder to me of the first time I panic sold a stock, won't do that again. LOL
