Ok, but I meant where are you getting these numbers to plug in. Die size is about the only thing we know for sure, and even there we don't know the product mix of different die with much certainty. How do you estimate the wafer capacity of Dresden?

Dresden's wafer capacity is about 5500 wafers per week. AMD has stated that a number of times.

Find Athlon's die size, I'm sure you can find it with a google search and plug it in here:

As for defect density, use .25/cm2. That's world class and the only thing you'll have to take my word for. Anything higher is easier to achieve. Anything lower is speculative on your part. There is no public data to show that anyone is below this point on complex logic at this time. When we come to SOI we don't have a good baseline to use to predict.
