UAMA worthless and for good reason.
Like every business Benoit Laliberte has ever been involved with, fraud is a big part of creating the illusion of progress. Press releases typically manipulated the facts. Look back at all the BS regarding patent litigation, anti-trust litigation, Blockdomes, wireless, etc. Latest press release last April regarding wireless MVNO opportunity is typical and contains half-truths and blatant un-truths.
TNW Wireless now a dead duck. Wholesale business model failed on the launch pad despite having roaming agreements with AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon and talks underway with Bell. Cellular network has been inoperative since 2018. Clear signs that Laliberte and Trevor-Deutsch are inept.
The acquisition of RuralCom was botched. Benoit Laliberte, UMA CEO and his Lawry Trevor-Deutsch have no relevant wireless experience, no industry contacts and couldn't raise any meaningful capital.
The touted MVNO opportunity for TNW Wireless is a non-starter. Having built the largest cellular resale organization in the US, I can say with some authority that TNW Wireless, UAMA et al will never, ever build a successful MVNO in Canada.
Blockdomes said to be in trouble. Latest quarterly reports admit to on-going land-use violation and related problems. Troubles disclosed with power utility which forced Blockdomes (or Cetaq et al) to file for creditor protection. It's in the latest quarterly and YE for 2020 reports.
To cap it off Benoit Laliberte has been labeled as a convicted criminal by The Canadian Press. (look it up!). His 24 convictions were for stock fraud, market manipulation and deceiving investors.
The records show that he has faced suits for breaching contracts and there are suits yet to be heard. In addition, Whistleblower complaints have been filed and it would come as no surprise if charges were laid against him.
He has never properly disclosed his convictions in public filings before the SEC and other regulatory agencies and he committed fraud in YE 2018 Pink Report and financials and then again in 1Q 2019 and 2Q 2019 Pink Report and financials when he claimed "NO" as his answer to question regarding "convictions within the past 10 years".
Mr Laliberte's reputation and convictions make him an untouchable when it comes to raising capital.
Benoit Laliberte has never built a business of lasting value.
