I think I am done for the day, I made my lovely bride a pen from a piece of wood I got from the desert in Ariz......all though it is OK, it is not my best by far. when we travel I carry a plastic toot , with saw & so forth, and try to get a piece of wood and come home & make a pen or 2----I need to buy me a battery operated very small chain saw so I can run in, cut and get out before the cops show up.....I am not breaking the law, that I know of, but, I do not want to hang around to find out....We were in the Iron Wood forest and I cut a tree limb and made her a pen from it....I always thought Iron Wood was really hard, not so with this piece or I cut the wrong thing.....lol....but she has a pen from the Iron Wood Forest in Ariz.....Then at the Spirit Mountain in Nev. I got some tree limbs, sorry, bush limbs and made my grandson & his friend a nice pen to remember their mountain climb.......Memories, hey that is what we leave behind-----try to leave good memories, not craappy memories----then at the funeral service it is truly a celebration of life-----When my time comes I want my family and friends enjoying the good times of our life, not being sad.......SAD yes for the loss of a loved one, but totally HAPPY for the good times we had over the years.....and trust me----my kids have some very funny & weird things to tell about me.....Lots Of Laughs-----------GOD BLESS
