"Kevlar is a money maker for Dupont"

yes, for over 40 years...thats a long time to have done business with the army...that kind of relationship doesnt not go away easily...no matter how great anyone think spider silk is...

and when kblb tried to work with the army, they failed and the army walked away...

cant figure out why some want to pretend the army is such a good fit...the silk that kblb produced was far too elastic to be of any use as body armor...thats one reason why the army simply wasnt interested...

and i said the elasticity of the silk would not work for body armor from day one..

when kblb tried to make the customized silk, they said it was stronger and MORE elastic...stronger was better but more elastic is exactly what the army didnt want...

many were surprised when the army walked away...i was not...

"( by the way, Joe Cunning... hmmm)"

the 82 yr old guy who hasnt had anything to do with dupont in 30 years?...the guy who has been retired for decades?...the only thing he didnt retire was his name which kim paid him to use on his
"science" advisory list...yea...lets keep that ridiculous dream alive...

"Now Kevlar is a strong material but it is heavy and stiff."

not in normal body armor it isnt...like what law enforcement uses...but for the military who try to get their armor to repel everything, yea...those military vests are going to be stiff and heavy...just as they would be with spider silk...you cant try to smash together 15 layers of ANYTHING and expect it to NOT be stiff and heavy...and yes, that goes for spider silk as well...because spider silk alone, so far, wont make a bullet proof vest...it has to be blended...

as for law enforcement, look at what the average cop you see on tv wearing...they have a gun belt loaded down with so much equipment its ridiculous...then they put on a weight bearing vest with 65 pockets and each one is bulging out with whatever crap is in it!...i dont know what the hell they carry in all that stuff...ham sandwiches?...

"Limited use for it. Spider silk has unlimited use"

kevlar has a million uses and so would spider silk...no sense trying to minimize either one...

"and Much easier to work with"

probably no difference at all...

"Prodigy has the good ready to deliverly for Syda Silk."

sure they do...been that way for 10 months now...when will they actually deliver?...and what does delivery to spydasilk for shirts and underwear have to do with kevlar and body armor...kinda 2 different things...

"20 b it is coming."

so.....an 82 yr old retired has been and silk underwear means the pps is going from 9 cents to 23 bucks per share?...

thats how the math works out?...

smh lmao...

oh wait...i forgot...the spider silk is also better than kevlar...even though when kblb had the chance to prove that, they failed miserably and the army gave them the finger and walked away...

but for some unknown reason, spidersilk is STILL better than kevlar??...

let me look...i see millions of kevlar vest out there STILL being made...and i see NO spider silk vests at all...

but we are smugly touting spider silk as not only better but FAR better than kevlar...

utterly ridiculous...
