Sometimes we think we are tough and stand up to evil, sometimes we like to be in charge, knowing we can do it-----Michael the archangel, the chief angel of God who especially watches over Israel and leads the holy angels. No where else in Scripture is the struggle over the body of Moses mentioned. Michael had to fight with satan to do God's bidding, as he did on another occasion in Daniel 10:13......Then we read a few words more and we learn that Michael with all his powers as the leading angel, to deal with satan/the devil, he just said "THE LORD REBUKE YOU"------What an excellent, wonderful examples for christians of today to deal with the ole devil. As a christian, all I need to do is---REMEMBER and call upon the Lord----Here I will speak for me, I suffer from my teaching from childhood until today, "You can do it." From my 1st step until today I have in my mind "I can do it", there are all sorts of books out there to motivate us to do for ourselves and success will follow.....the devil is extra powerful, I or you are no match for him, I or you may think so, but then that just proves we are full of it, why fight it, why stress ourselves out when the simple solution is right at our finger tips-----"THE LORD REBUKE YOU." or maybe, "In the name of Jesus Christ, satan get behind me"

This does not mean that we are to be lazy and do what we can for ourselves , Over the years I have learned that a lot of people quit just when success is right around the corner. We all have an inner strength to use when the going gets rough-----but don't get sucked into the idea that you are super tough and capable of dealing with the devil-----Learn to just call upon the Lord----the trick is REMEMBER
