Nah, I think the original poster on stock twits thought something was up because of the Wild-Type vs Transgenic mice descriptor. I think the initial MTD was done on wild-type mice to get the proper dosage for the transgenic mice for the study. I don't think anything new has happened with this, they just worded their recent tweet reiterating the MTD results to include the Wild-Type designation of the mice.

I could be wrong, but it makes sense that they would get the tolerable dose from normal mice and then use that dosing when they are actually testing the effects of the drug on transgenic mice that are susceptible to covid. Just my opinion.
