It's not incorrect if you add more chapters to the book. Many books have had addendums, and amendments included for new editions. Same subject, new information.

If you choose to write THE only book about this company 1 time, it will be incorrect, and out of date.

Time doesn't go backwards. Everything gets updated.

The telling of this company isn't etched in stone. Yet you keep telling the story as if it only occurred sometime in the past. You repeatedly refer to the past, and not the recent past.

Hard to go forward when you're always looking behind. Kind of like shorting a stock and watching it go up.
