just highlights what's been happening for decades with both FAA and FDA. Well established companies in the US do their own testing and submit results / get FDA rubber stamp approval until something goes wrong. Small companies without a track record get scrutinized to no end. Not only are the products reviewed over and over and over, but the companies financials, manufacturing processes, etc get put under a microscope.

I'm not sure just submitting a successful (knock-out results) trial will be enough to quickly gain an EUA or Approval - it will take time.
