Not really for a merger. It feels like forever for me too. But the reality is these often go back and forth so many times and the slightest little things can cause the negotiations to stall or start over. I really feel like the time-frame we are looking at is pretty typical. What isn't typical is that they announce before hand that this is what's happening. In other words, you should never announce an LOI is coming. You either have one or you don't. All IMHO.
