jsc, I think you make a good point. I, too, have AMEP in 3 accounts in my name and one in each my wife and 2 of my kid's names. It that number truly represents the number of accounts then it is too high.

As it is, 419 would be a high number and even under 300 would seem high; but with almost 500 million shares this would mean a lot of folks must be holding quite large positions. That is a bit surprising to me; I would have expected the shareholder total to be at least a thousand since I would think there would be a big number of folks holding 100-400K positions. It could be that your number is correct and many of the Texas oilmen know that CB is onto something good and they have taken sizeable positions.
