In theory at least - they 'should' be able to design a viricide to match any virus as long as they have a good idea what the 3D structure of its spike protein looks like.

In practice they are (apparently) easy to design with the information Diwan's folks have. In reality though the issue isn't design - it's production, getting something over the hump and into clinical testing, and maybe, possibly, eventually generating some revenue.
