I am completely ignorant about this but just want to ask. Isn’t TGGI technically a U.S. company? Isn’t that the point of Chen Ren merging into it rather than doing an IPO later? Perhaps he’s trying to circumvent the issue. Or is it just the fact that he and the merged companies are Chinese that gives China control?
