The control block represents control of the company, without the control block shares Mark does not officially own the company meaning Mark cannot get OTCIQ access and cannot get current with financials as you cannot file financials with no one owning the control block shares.

this is all just fundemental financial reporting and OTC process.

There is no narrative, this is what it is, the only other things being said is "but you know something could happen" which sure something could, I could hit Mega Millions lottery, but that is not realistic to think or based in any objective fact, it is just hoping and praying something happens.

Is it cheaper to move on? I don't know. Easier? Probably. Mark himself stated he does not know if it will ever get resolved, so you have the choice of spending time and money and it all be wasted or you start over knowing it will work. I cannot say which Mark will choose, but his phrasing does not show much confidence that anything will ever happen.
