My mitochondria are poisoned by Cipro - the drug works by affecting mitochondrial replication in a virus, but 30 years ago they noticed it was killing or badly damaging the health of many. No study was done to find out why some suffered and others did not. Eight black box warnings later doctors are still prescribing it inappropriately.

On 2/25/18 I was given Cipro for a routine UTI. I asked about the black box warning and did not take a second pill till I talked to my doctor. He gave me inappropriate information and told me if I didn't finish the scrip I would get "antibiotic resistance". False info and in later research I had at least six risk factors for an adverse reaction for the drug which the doctor ignored.

THIS is why no one messes with my mitochondria - I'm already in serious trouble because of the Cipro.
