In the lab remdesivir is more effective than brilacidin in "treating" human cell lines.

I agree that remdesivir's efficacy in the clinic is marginal at best, which tells you that in vitro studies are not terribly reliable in predicting in vivo efficacy.

It's shame that some are pushing drugs that are effective in a test tube (when pre-incubated) without any actual proof of clinical efficacy.

That would be like saying people should take bleach because it kills COVID-19 in a test tube, and surely no one could be that stupid?
