Nothing happened to tele-medicine except it’s growing. The American Medical Association says physicians are seeing 50 to 175 times the number of patients via tele-medicine than they did before the pandemic. It’s noted that 46% of patients are now using tele-medicine to replace canceled in-person visits, up from the just 11% of patients who used telehealth in 2019.

The COVID-19 pandemic caused doctors and their patients to use tele-medicine and could account for $250 billion.
