Look Ice, I get it. Businesses go belly up every day. Investors lose their money every day. I get it. There are a myriad of things that can tank a company. Unforeseen market forces, dramatic shifts in the economy, and bad decisions by CEO’s all can bring down a company. I was well aware of the hazards of investing, particularly in penny stocks, when I bought into Greenshift. But what is really making me so mad here is WHY Greenshift is tanking. It is glaringly obvious to me that Kevin has QUIT. He has quit on Greenshift and he has quit on us.
Kevin has made many horrible decisions during the Greenshift saga:
Partnering with that fat hillbilly from Colwich.
Taking out a $50M loan when he thought he had the GE contract.
Signing up for toxic financing with Yagi.
All of these were terrible decisions but that is hindsight and in running a business you have to make decisions and some of them will be wrong. I have no quarrel with any of that.
I have approximately $35,000 wrapped up in Greenshift. That money has been invested over the past 12 years or so. I reloaded after every reverse split because I believed in the technology and I believed Kevin could make it go. I would never invest money I couldn’t afford to lose and given the time scale it has not been impactful to my day to day life. But it is $35,000 and it is mine. And for Kevin to just go AWOL and quit while my investment is floating out there really makes me angry.
Maybe he just got bored. Maybe it got to be too hard. Maybe he got a better offer on another gig. Whatever it is, he has quit. He posted his self-aggrandizing soliloquy on the Greenshift website so that the world will remember what a great lover of this planet he is and what a truly altruistic human being he is and then he walked out on us.
So Kevin just quitting on this operation while I still have $35,000 invested is, in my mind, the equivalent of stealing that money from me. And that REALLY makes me angry. If this hits zero without any intervention from Kevin I will take action. I guarantee that!
