Devicerep888, that's a he!! of a good point about the state of affairs of Mazor and the spine surgery market at the time of the BO.

So, MDT felt that occupying the space and owning the IP was strategically important going forward. Not b/c it was operating on all cylinders (pun intended).

Not too far from similar conditions as we are in presently.

The ability to cheat the amount of time it takes to create IP and defend it is the true long-term value of this company. IMO. And MDT would want all of the IP from which to turn into a weapon against any other form of RAS device with similar features, functions and controls. Makes our IP even more valuable. Cant' really compete or defend with just 15-16 patents b/c of all the subsequent IP by extension of capability(ies) and overlap of any future development. IMO.
