Out of all my trading friends all have quit with Etrade. The blocking of AMC and Gamestop was the final straw. So who uses them? They have a poor rating of BBB. They have tried to merge with better platforms but keep getting turned down. Who wants to add a platform that is sub par and losing customers? SIPC is going to surprise a lot of shorts and those waiting for entry.

So would I use Etrade to buy anything at all, no. Especially not for buying in the OTC and a quality stock like SIPP Industries just waiting for the green light in Texas and California. $SIPC$
