I see and agree, but if a person ask out of selfish greed, covertness & pride then they are not being led by the Holy Spirit. I do love the conversation here, back years ago when I was visiting Vegas there were beggars everywhere, when approaching them I would take a moment and say, "God should I help this person out or not"----often I had an inside feeling to help & I would, sometimes there was nothing and I did not.....I just believe that if we have accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts that Jesus also follows through with His promise to send the Comforter to walk along beside us to aid us.....I also believe that we choose to listen to the Holy Spirit or go our way. I could be wrong, but I have many times wished that folks would become more and more aware of the presence of the Holy Spirit, I also often believe that the pulpit has really missed out on this teaching.... Could be a cop-out for me on judgement-day----I can say...well, I thought the H.S. meant whatever, His fault, not mine.....jus staying in tune with 2021 thinking and YES !! I have a screw or 2 loose up there
