No question that education is paramount to having a prosperous life - that said, there are a number of different avenues to acquire education.

I agree that college/university is one of those avenues, but, one has to be very careful regarding what kind of education is being taught - many heavily funded state institutions unfortunately aren't neutral, and have a distinct and in many cases a dangerous agenda.

BTW, a bit surprised by the "pass the torch" reference - I guess anyone above 50 should be considered a throw away.
