The issue is two things.

1) No new traders can buy, you can always sell a position but all other retail can't purchase.

2) They could go grey meaning that there are no L2 quotes, you have no idea what the bid/ask is or what it will trade at, couple that with the lack of retail buying and they will push it where ever they feel like and eventually it will just be dormant in the trips
