ArchieK, yet for that audience I'd like to have my presentation attractive and informative, but my attitude inviting.

Much of the business starts when after a presentation people come to see you personally, exchange some business cards, because they see you are approachable and knowledgeable. From there it's up to the presenter to wheel the person to someone like the guy that did the Avid presentation and that in a direct to the topic conversation will without any doubt expose hyper knowledgeability of what Avid can do for you.

In a presentation where someone depends on a piece of paper and clearly misreads, then corrects, you don't get the feeling of knowledgeability. You think, he is telling us what his left and right bike wheel told him when they prepared the slides so they keep him in balance.

And again, I mean no disrespect, I am sure that guy is worth is weight in gold in his daily work. He just isn't a presenter, but that can be learned!
