KAT Exploration, Inc. is an exploration company. The Company is engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. The Company is focused on sediment-hosted strati form copper deposits in the eastern portion of Newfoundland. The Company's properties include Rusty Ridge Property, Colliers Property, Deer Harbour Copper Property, Hodderville Copper Property, Red Hill Mines, Hancock Gold Mine, Handcamp Gold Property, South Lucky Copper and Shaylee. Rusty Ridge property is the Company's wholly owned iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) potential. The Rusty Ridge property is approximately 2,100 hectares in size and is situated on Crown land, NTS Map Sheets 02C/05 and 02D/08, in proximity to the community of Bunyan's Cove, Bonavista Peninsula. The Collier's River Property consists of 20 claims located in the Northeastern Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland, adjacent to the town of Conception Harbour.
