I think people are getting hung up on the mention of mRNA vaccine technology. I don't believe they are making a vaccine, they are just using the function of mRNA vaccine technology to target inhibition of the Nrf2 so that they can better administer the cancer drug to cancer cells. mRNA is messenger RNA, which relates to DNA in that it is sort of like blueprints or translating how to build protein components for DNA. To me this PR reads as, they are using mRNA technology of reading the blueprints of cell protein data so that they can properly bypass the cell defenses to administer the anti-cancer drug into cancerous cells.

mRNA has been around for 30 or so years, it just isn't as extensively tested being that it has only been around for 30 years and no drugs have been put on the market that use such technology. Even the current mRNA covid vaccines aren't officially approved, they are only authorized, meaning the companies producing them are not liable for unintended harm from them. At least not yet...
