Which announcement would have more impact:

In a small phase 2 trial B has proven to be successful in eliminating C.
OR
In a small phase 2 trial B has proven to be successful in eliminating C and did not exhibit adverse side effects or recurrence 60 days after treatment.

There have been many premature and false hopes/promises in the COVID arena that fizzled. I believe there is the possibility the FDA thinks B looks like a winner and wants convey confidence if the trial exceeds expectations. This could be construed as setting the stage for acceleration.
