"During at least the second private placement, Deitsch also repeatedly engaged in manipulative trades of Nutra Pharma stock by submitting orders to buy shares at prices higher than the sellers’ ask prices in order to “walk up” the stock price—in other words, Deitsch offered to pay more for the shares than the amount the seller was willing to take. After one brokerage firm told Deitsch his trades looked “uneconomical” and were “upticking the price of the stock,” the firm closed his brokerage account. Shortly afterwards, Deitsch opened a new account with a different
brokerage firm and continued to make the same type of manipulative trades."
Instead of tossing Deitsch some softballs - ask some tough questions such as price manipulation in the SEC complaint.
But in doing real DD the last place you go for accurate information is the CEO/Company - you take the company hype and attempt to verify it. And Deitsch has a history of not providing truthful information.
